If you have any immediate questions, please feel free to shoot me a text, give me a call, or send over an email.
"Where do I start?"
Have you asked this question? I hear it all the time when people approach me about buying a home, so I've designed this page as a guide.
01
Find YOUR Agent
Since you are here, I'd say you've probably already found her. 😉 To get started as one of my clients, take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaires located below.
After I get your information and details about your situation, I'll be in touch to either schedule a consultation or share other next steps depending on your situation.
02
Attend a Homebuyer Workshop or get a Private Consultation
There is so much to know and learn when setting out on this journey. I host homebuyer workshops regularly for anyone interested in learning the essentials. For those who prefer more 1-on-1 sit-downs, I am always happy to schedule a private call or coffee date to go over your situation, options or just share some helpful information.

03
Contact a Lender
Securing financing is the first "real" step towards buying a home. If you plan to start shopping for a home within the next 6 months, it is time to talk to a lender. Here is a list of lenders I have worked with in the past and who have provided excellent service to my clients.
04
Start looking at homes
Once you have your financing sorted out, it is time to start shopping! When working with me, I'll be sending you listings through your MLS portal. Once you are ready to start looking at homes in person, we will pick out a day (or days) and a time(s) to see properties. You will also be able to secure times for Home Tours with me through this link.
05
Make an offer & Get under contract
Once we find your match, we will work together to draft a perfect offer. When writing an offer we will want to take a number of things into consideration such as the market, neighborhood statistics, your finances, age of the home, condition of the home, seller disclosures, and more. It may sound like a lot, but you'll have excellent guidance at this stage to help you navigate terms.
06
The Contract Period
This is usually a 21-40 day period during which all parties work towards fulfilling the terms of the contract. As a buyer, you will be conducting your due diligence, securing financing and we may open up further negotiations if needed. If you would like to get a bit more informed for this process, here are some blogs worth reading:

07
Close on YOUR home & Get your KEYS
At the end of your contract period, you'll have a Closing Day. In most cases, you'll go to the Title Company's office and a notary will walk you through the closing documents page by page. Feel free to pause and ask questions before signing anything. It is important that you bring your ID card to the office for this and that your signature is consistent on all documents. In some cases, it is possible to have the notary meet you somewhere outside of the title company's office. After you and the seller finish at your closing appointments, you will need to wait for funding. This typically takes 2-4 hours. Once the transaction has funded, you can pick up your keys!
08
Celebrate & Enjoy
Buying real estate is a good cause for celebration. Treat yourself and enjoy the spoils of your hard work. At this point, we may be done with the task we set out to accomplish, but I will forever be available to you as a resource so long as I am an active agent.
